We want to inform you that HYEHOST is currently experiencing a series of massive, targeted DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks. These attacks, known as "carpet bombs," are highly sophisticated and constantly evolving. Each time we successfully block a segment of the attack, the attackers quickly adjust their tactics, making this an ongoing challenge.
Our team has been working diligently around the clock to mitigate the impact. We have successfully managed to absorb and filter a large portion of the traffic. However, due to the nature of these attacks, we are seeing the methods change dynamically, targeting different aspects of our infrastructure.
For the time being, we are left with few options besides sinking the attack traffic or temporarily de-announcing services. However, we remain committed to keeping our services online and will not resort to downtime as a defense mechanism. We believe that giving in would be a win for the attackers, and we refuse to let that happen.
It is important to note that this attack seems to be affecting not just HYEHOST, but also many of our partners and providers, as it appears to be directed at a group of hosting providers who collaborate closely.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Rest assured, we are doing everything in our power to find a more permanent solution. Once we have resolved this issue, we will be able to offer updated Service Level Agreements (SLA) to compensate for any disruption in service.
Thank you for your continued patience and support. We will keep you informed of any significant updates as they become available.
Many Thanks,
Aaran Perry,
Company Director
HYEHOST LLC
