Customizing cPanel for Your Clients (Branding & Feature Sets) Print

  • 0

To look professional, you can brand the cPanel interface with your own company logo and restrict which icons your clients see.

Applying Your Logo (Branding):

  1. Log into WHM.
  2. Go to cPanel > Customization.
  3. Under the Logos tab, upload your Company Logo and Webmail Logo.
  4. Under the Colors tab, you can customize the color scheme to match your brand.

Creating Feature Lists:

You might want to sell a "Basic" package that doesn't include SSH access or Addon Domains, while your "Pro" package does. You control this with Feature Lists.

  1. In WHM, go to Packages > Feature Manager.
  2. Under Add a new feature list, enter a name (e.g., BasicFeatures) and click Add.
  3. Check only the boxes for the features you want that specific package to have (e.g., Email Accounts, File Manager). Uncheck features you want to hide.
  4. Save the list.
  5. Finally, edit your hosting Packages (Packages > Edit a Package) and assign this new Feature List to them.
