CloudLinux LVE Resource Limits for Reseller Plans Print

  • 0

To maintain high performance and stability across our servers, all Reseller Hosting accounts (including both your primary reseller account and the individual client cPanel accounts you create) are governed by CloudLinux LVE (Lightweight Virtual Environment) limits.

Standard Resource Limits

Every account under a Reseller plan operates with the following dedicated resources:

  • CPU: 100% (1 Full Core)
  • RAM (PMEM): 2GB (2048MB)
  • Entry Processes (EP): 20
  • Number of Processes (NPROC): 100
  • I/O Limit: 2MB/s (2048 KB/s)
  • IOPS: 1024

What do these limits mean?

  • CPU & RAM: The processing power and memory available for your websites scripts (like PHP).
  • Entry Processes (EP): The number of concurrent connections your site can process at the exact same millisecond. 20 is plenty for most standard websites.
  • I/O & IOPS: The speed at which your account can read and write data to our SSD drives.

Need More Resources?

If you or your clients consistently hit these limits, it means the website is outgrowing a shared hosting environment.

For high-traffic or resource-intensive sites that require higher dedicated limits, we recommend upgrading to a Managed VPS solution. Please open a support ticket or contact our sales team to discuss the best upgrade path for your needs!
